- Copy ‘CorePlugins.DLL’ & ‘IDE.DLL’ to “C:\Program Files\GameMaker Studio 2\” (replace existing ones).
- Go to “C:\Windows\assembly\NativeImages” and remove ‘IDE’, ‘GameMakerStudio’ [or run ‘DelAssem.cmd’ as admin.
- Launch GMS, login and let it complete installation.
- Copy ‘GMAssetCompiler.exe’ & ‘igor.exe’ to “C:\ProgramData\GameMakerStudio2\Cache\runtimes\runtime-x\bin\” where x is the installed version.
- You’re done. Make games, don’t publish comercially (you can build to all platforms).
